Transvestivism: A Fetish Too far?
When most people think of transvestites, they imagine a group of men prancing around ridiculously in women's clothes. They think that they are strange and sexually deviant, people to be avoided at all costs in case they become infected with the same disease or a victim of their strange sexual perversion.
This is a very strange way to view people who have a desire that is in many ways similar to many fetishes which are widely accepted and even fashionable from time to time. Many people, despite their own protestations to the contrary, have difficulties communicating openly about sex. Everyone likes to have sex a particular way, some like to explore their desires while others repress their desires, in the same way as some transvestites.
Some men and women enjoy bondage, P.V.C. and leather; many have a fetish for hosiery, shoes, boots, and feet. This is also shown in transvestism, in fact many trannies start with exploration of these fetishes. For example one person I spoke to, explained to me that they first started becoming a transvestite as a result of his fascination with women's hosiery. It was a compulsion for him, he loved the look and feel of women's hosiery on his girlfriend and decided one day to try a pair of tights on, that led to him wondering what it would be like to be fully dressed as a woman. From there it became an obsession, an addiction that he couldn't stop. Of course it has a sexual basis for his transvestism, but it explained to me what led him to becoming a transvestite.
I have read many articles and stories over the years and spoken to many different people about their own sexual desires, and I have come to the conclusion that the majority of transvestites are people who have a very strong sexual desire or need to dress as a woman. I do not dispute that for some this is not true, their desire to dress is due to self expression and not borne of sexual desire. However for many transvestites that I have met it is a basic need for sexual gratification and exploration of their own sexuality that excites them.
Does this make transvestites, perverts or people to be hated? No, they are just normal people who have a sexual need just as everyone else has unique personal needs. They are no different to anyone, and should not be ridiculed for it. We as a society don't feel repulsed by people who enjoy bondage or some of the stranger fetishes that I know to exist, yet the trend is not so for transvestites. Maybe it is because in our society we have created an image of men as providers, of tall strong types, and the thought of men expressing a weaker side to their emotions is just not conceivable to modern society.
However just a hundred years ago we would never have thought that there would ever be a woman Prime Minister, or thought that a woman could have a career, be a soldier, or even vote. It is time to accept that our image of the world is not black and white but multi coloured, and allow people to express themselves. Many people that you see everyday may in fact be privately practicing acts including and related to transvestism. You could at any time find this out about a person that you know, but if you know them as a person, why should this change the way you feel and act towards them?

Doublespeak: Words Invoke Emotions
Words also have a strong bearing on how we remember certain details. For example, in a 1979 study conducted by Elizabeth Loftus, when defendants were asked how fast they were driving when they "smashed" into the other car as opposed to "hit" the other car, much higher speeds were reported. In another study, subjects were asked if they had headaches "frequently" or "occasionally" and how many per week. Those who were interviewed with the word "frequently" reported 2.2 headaches per week, while those interviewed with the word "occasionally" reported only 0.7 per week.

Feminization Hypnosis: The Practical Way Towards Femininity
It is quite obvious that women are far different from men. They are not created equal in so many ways. They are physically, mentally and emotionally different from each other. Women are more charming in their own special ways. A lot of learned men of history would describe a woman as a perpetual teenager. A woman is deemed as someone who is in touch with their own adulthood as well as their childhood. And because women are sensitive being, they somehow command affection, attention and love- especially from the opposite sex.
What is cross dressing
Cross dressing is when a man or woman chooses to wear clothes of the opposite sex. To most of us this may seem strange, almost perverse. Yet there are those of us who feel driven by a deep desire to cross dress. When we wear clothes of the opposite sex, we feel at ease, comfortable, and at one with who we are.
